Dinner Numero Dos

Wow has it been a week already since my second dinner with the 16 courses of food? I think I’M STILL full from that dinner!

There was so much to eat my stomach wanted to burst!

I guess it never occurred to us exactly how much food we made. At end of it,  it finally hit me. If 9 of us went to dinner and each of us brought 1,2, and even 3 dishes, there would be A LOT OF FOOD. Even if we all just brought one dish, there’d be NINE plates of food.

Yea, I never thought of it that way until I was ready to drop on the floor with all that extra weight in my tum.

By about the 5th dish, most of us were ready to throw in the towel but we were only STILL on appies.

This was us before our waists grew 9inches

Wanna know all of our dorky fancy names? of course you do!

From left to right:
Monsieur Jean-Jacques Marnier
Quintiliano Esposito
Annabelle Cecil D’Aubigne
Gabriel De Àngelos
Anastasia de l’eau Dubois-Archibald the 7th
Katherina Petrova Marquise of Anglesey
Angelo Alexanderous Atheaboris
Frédéric Hugo Sven Dublinier-Gares of Wales
Amandine Lalonde

Now you probably all think I’m totally lamesauce LOL Anywayy…

Imagine, how much food there was for us to feel that way ! LOL

Actually, allow me to show you

2nd dish: BESTEST cheese and tomato scones

2nd dish: butternut squash soup

3rd: sweet filipino spag

4th: greek mint potato salad

5th: grilled prawn with spice peach salsa

6th: Bistecca Tagliat ( no idea what language that is, but i think it was a steak)

7th: Spinach Salad with Apples and Feta Cheese

I think I was close to spilling my guts out here.

8th: Roasted Salmon with Yellow Tomatoes, Marjoram, and Garlic (don't mind the dirty plate, we already had a pile of dishes waiting in sink)

9th: Lemon Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and Veggies (MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE)

NOT SHOWN: Tomato and Bocconcini Salad with Cilantro and Vinaigrette (dumb me forgot to take a pic 😦 it was such a good salad)

11th: DESSERT! (my stomach has a special place for dessert 🙂 )

Ok so technically we only had about 15 if you count all the savoury food and all the different desserts PLUS my failed mousse cake.

Wowzaaa! Sooo much good looking food. I would have had a serious food baby after all that. The word moderation would not have been in my vocab! =)

That is such a cute idea! And I’m kinda in love that I now know someone else in this world that says lamesauce. Everyone always laughs when I say it.
And food babies are the best type of babies.

That really is a lot of food! Glad you enjoyed it despite feeling overly full afterwards.
